12-14 of July is Haapsalu Old Town (from Karja street until Kalda street intersection) closed for regular traffic. Entrance only for american vehicles. We kindly ask other car drivers to consider this.
Driving into old town is only permitted for American cars. All other cars may be parked at a free parking lot at Väike Viik. Please follow the signs leading to the parking lot. Map
We kindly ask you to honor townsman and not park your car on narrow streets, in front of cates, etc, in order not to block way for locals and rescue vehicles. Haapsalu is a lovely small town, everything is in walking distance!
All drivers are cultured and don`t sit behind the steering wheels while being tipsy. Alcohol and driving do not go together!
The parade on Sunday is through Old Town – we ask all spectators to stay in safety distance and not to stand on the driveway. Follow the traffic regulator`s orders!
Burnout is strictly forbidden in old town territory! We strongly ask not to do burnouts on cobblestone road and on the parking lot in front of castle yard. There are also signs on spot. Burnout is allowed outside old town. During Sunday cruising please pay attention not to do burnouts on the pedestrian crossing and that people are on safety distance. NB! Do not do donuts inside the crowd!
PS! Once you leave the venue area (old town area) you are obligated to follow the traffic rules! You are not allowed to sit in the trunk or other unattended places while driving.
